Skin Illustrator Duncan Jarman's Washes Palette

$89

Duncan Jarman's Washes is a custom palette created for the Oscar nominated British makeup artist, Duncan Jarman.   While this collection contains colors recognized in the Skin Illustrator arsenal, these washes are designed to be applied for a more buildable, translucent painting style than what is generally used with the regular Skin Illustrator colors.   These washes are not as opaque as those found in the traditional palettes, yet they still maintain the same long lasting staying power.

I was working and balancing four Illustrator palettes to blend the pigment I wanted. After working with the colors for some time, I established … a palette including 10 mixed-color hues which enabled me to create the desired effect. This was named the 12 Years a Slave Illustrator palette [by PPI], for use on brown- and black-skinned actors. - See more at: http://makeupmag.com/featured/id/1163/#sthash.PMSjkBAp.dpuf

The Colors included in the collection:  Eggplant. W, Rose Adjuster. W, DT Blush. W, Olive Adjuster. W Midnight Brown. W, Darth Moss. W, Vein Tone. W, Cedar Brown. W, Ultra Blue. W and Redrum. W  (The .W suffix indicates the translucent washes formula — yet still the same color as the original formula).

NB.  Due to the high pigment content and lack of unnecessary fillers in the Skin Illustrator color system, cracks, bubbles and any shrunken appearance that may occur in some dried color cells does not affect the quality or performance of the product in any way.

The colors  can easily be applied with a brush, sponge or mascara wand.  Use it alone, or mix the colors with any of the other Skin Illustrator tones to create your own unique blend of  color.

You must use Skin Illustrator Activator,  Skin Illustrator Slow Activator,  or 99% alcohol to activate the color pigment.  Do Not use  70% alcohol, MEK, acetone, water or any other solvent.

Removal is easy with PPI's Telesis Super Solv or Telesis Makeup Remover.
